How access works

Vispull is paid and by invitation. These are the steps from your request to your opening search, as the product works today. Each one says where it happens and whether it's live.

Steps

  1. Step 1: Request access

    Live

    On this page

Tell us your email, your studio, how many people would use it and where your images live. The form is on this page.

  2. Step 2: Invitation

    By hand

    By email

We read each request and reply by email with your invitation, your plan and how your subscription will be arranged. If you'll connect Google Drive, we also confirm the Google account you'll use, so that Google lets it connect.

  3. Step 3: Create your account

    Live

    At app.vispull.com

Open app.vispull.com and choose Sign up. Use your email and a password, and open the confirmation link if one arrives by email. Or continue with your Google account.

  4. Step 4: Connect Google Drive or Dropbox

    Live

    In the app

Press + to add a source and choose Google Drive or Dropbox. You grant permission to read your files in their own window, where Google may show a notice that it hasn't finished verifying Vispull. Back in Vispull, import everything or pick folders and files, with a preview of what will come in, and choose whether to keep all folders, chosen folders or nothing in sync. You can also upload images directly.

  5. Step 5: Indexing

    Live

    Automatic

Vispull reads each image once. It writes a description of what's in it, notes objects, materials, colours, visible text and a probable place and period, reads the date and location saved in the file, and computes search vectors. Images join your library as they finish, new ones land in “Just added”, and any that fail are listed so you can retry them.

  6. Step 7: Subscription checkout

    Coming soon

    Online

Online checkout isn't built yet. Until it is, we arrange your subscription with you directly in step 2. See pricing.
